Mariusz Kwiecien won Artist of the Year in 2006/07 for his performance as Don Giovanni. Kwiecien made his Seattle debut in 2003 as Dr. Malatesta, and has also sung Riccardo in “I puritani” and Count Almaviva in “The Marriage of Figaro” in Seattle. In his famous “Champagne Aria,” Giovanni plans a wild party, full of free-wheeling sexual chaos, for later that evening. Andreas Mitisek conducts the orchestra of Seattle Opera.
