This production of Mozart's popular comedy was directed by Stephen Terrell. It featured the Seattle Opera debut of Arthur Woodley, who went on to sing many varied parts for the company; and also the first set of English captions written by Jonathan Dean, who has written most of Seattle Opera's English captions in-house ever since.
