1999 Die Zauberflöte

This whimsical production of Mozart’s beloved fairy tale was designed by cartoonist Gerald Scarfe and built by Seattle Opera Scenic Studios for the Los Angeles Opera. The production featured the Seattle Opera debut of the original barihunk, Nathan Gunn, as Papageno.
