This beautiful production, directed by Dieter Kaegi and designed by Bruno Schwengl, dazzled Seattle audiences in the summer of '97. Austrians Helmut Berger-Tuna and Angelika Kirchschlager made their only Seattle appearances in this most Viennese of operas.
