Seattle Opera’s Young Artists Program took a touring version of Verdi’s early comedy,
Un giorno di regno, around the state in Fall 2012. A team of big-voiced Young Artists did a fine job with this Donizetti-esque opera buffa. They performed the opera in Italian, with English captions, and accompanied by piano.
