The November 1966
Cav/Pag brought the noteworthy conductor Emerson Buckley to Seattle; coincidentally, his son Richard Buckley would later become an associate conductor with the Seattle Symphony Orchestra. The husband-and-wife team of James McCracken and Sandra Warfield, who had sung
Samson and Dalila the season before, returned to sing the ill-fated Turiddu and Santuzza.
