In the fall of 2007, the Young Artist toured a double bill of Bernstein’s <i>Trouble in Tahiti</i> and Donizetti’s hilarious one-acter, <i>Rita</i>, around the state. The climax of <i>Rita</i> was an intense game of rock-paper-scissors between the tenor and the baritone, who were competing—not to love the soprano, but to get divorced from her! The production was sung in English and accompanied by piano.
