In this revival of the 1990 production, Gunther Schneider-Siemssen’s beautiful, glittering sets and Deitmar Solt’s fantastical costumes evoked a watery fairy-tale world. Alan Woodrow, recovered from the injury that hampered his performances as Siegfried in that summer’s Ring, sang the Prince to Gwynne Geyer’s Rusalka. Peter Rose sang a gorgeous Vodnik.
