The second Ring opera to be presented in Seattle was Siegfried, performed during the subscription season of 1973/74. Herbert Becker’s costume would evolve, but he was a strong-voiced Siegfried during the early years. Paul Crook was an unforgettable Mime each time this opera was presented, and Noel Tyl added great majesty to the proceedings as the king of the gods.
