Several members of the original cast, including Robert Moulson as Lennie and Archie Drake as Candy, returned for Seattle Opera’s
second production of Floyd’s great opera, inspired by the Steinbeck novella. The 1976 production was broadcast locally on KUOW, Seattle’s classical-music (and NPR) radio station at the time.
